Almost everyone selling their home in England and Wales needs to provide potential buyers with a Home Information Pack (HIP).
A local qualified domestic energy assessor will carry out an extensive assessment of the heat loss and CO2 emissions of the property.

An certified assessor will collate information on:

  • Age of the property, number of storeys, building type, heating and hot water systems
  • Identify types of windows, insulation, corridors, lighting and much more
  • Explain efficiency ratings and give practical advice on how to improve the energy efficiency of their home

At the end of the survey a certificate will be produced grading their property's energy efficiency from A to G for inclusion in their Home Information Pack (HIP). 
As a seller you have the choice of compiling your own pack or one can be created for you.

 

 

When you purchase a HIP from 1st Call DEA.

* The pack will be complete.
