Almost everyone selling their home in England and Wales needs to provide potential buyers with a Home Information Pack (HIP).
A local qualified domestic energy assessor will carry out an extensive assessment of the heat loss and CO2 emissions of the property.

An certified assessor will collate information on:

Age of the property, number of storeys, building type, heating and hot water systems
Identify types of windows, insulation, corridors, lighting and much more
Explain efficiency ratings and give practical advice on how to improve the energy efficiency of their home

At the end of the survey a certificate will be produced grading their property's energy efficiency from A to G for inclusion in their Home Information Pack (HIP).
As a seller you have the choice of compiling your own pack or one can be created for you.

When you purchase a HIP from 1st Call DEA..                                                                                                                 ABBE Certified
